AMC Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week - No. 1 (March 13)

St. Louis, Mo. - Isaiah Hoelscher of Hannibal-LaGrange (Mo.) and Josh Brown of Central Baptist (Ark.) have been selected as the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced on Monday. They were selected from nominees submitted by each institution based on their performances from March 6 through March 12 and chosen through a vote of Sports Information Directors from around the AMC.

The first NAIA Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week awards will be announced on Wednesday.

• Placed fourth in the 100-meter hurdles at the Hendrix Alumni Open in a time of 17.32.
• Added a 16^th-place finish in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.16.

Other Notable Performance:

• Jakobe Alcorn, Lyon (Ark.): Finished third in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:08.63.

Isaiah Hoelscher, Hannibal-LaGrange (Mo.)

• Finished first in the hammer throw with a mark of 53.15-meters, the second best throw in the NAIA.
• Placed fourth in the discus with a distance of 43.70-meters, the best throw in the NAIA.
• Added a ninth-place finish in the shot put with a mark of 12.45-meters.

Other Notable Performance:

• John Paul Morgan, Lyon (Ark.): Won the shot put (13.65m) and placed second in the discus (36.45m).
