2025 AMC Outdoor T&F Championship Preview
EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - The American Midwest Conference (AMC) Outdoor Track & Field Championship is set to take place on Wednesday and Thursday, April 30-May 1 at Ralph Korte Stadium in Edwardsville, Ill. on the campus of SIUE.
Field events begin at 12 p.m. on Wednesday with the women's shot put, while the running events start at 3 p.m. with the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase. On Thursday, men's javelin and long jump get the field events started at 10 a.m., with the running events starting at 12:45 p.m. with the 4x100 relays.
Participating teams include: Central Baptist College, Columbia College, Cottey College (women only), Hannibal-LaGrange University, Harris-Stowe State University, Missouri Baptist University, University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy, William Woods University and Williams Baptist University.
Women's Notes:
- 10 individuals return to defend their 2024 title - Missouri Baptist's Mia Duncan (3K-SC & 400-H) and Alaina Scott (PV), William Woods' Mekayla Gibson (10K) and Hailey Gerard (5K), Health Sciences & Pharmacy's Taylor Washington (100-H), Cottey's Hannah Hayduk (400M) and Madalenn Fee (800M), Harris-Stowe's Alicia Robinson (100M), Hannibal-LaGrange's Kaylyn Powers (SP & HT) and Williams Baptist's Kaylee Isaacs (HJ)
- Defending team champion William Woods, clinched their eighth title last year, edging out Columbia by 14 points (176-162). All-time William Woods has a conference-best 96 individuals and relays champion, followed by Missouri Baptist with 69
- Cottey returns Athlete of the Meet Madalenn Fee and Newcomer of the Year Kate Soukup
- Missouri Baptist returns Outstanding Track Athlete of the Meet Mia Duncan, while Hannibal-LaGrange brings back Outstanding Field Athlete of the Meet Kaylyn Powers
- One AMC athlete reached the NAIA A-Standard

- Defending team champion William Woods, clinched their fifth title last year, edging out Columbia by 30 points (257-227). All-time William Woods has a conference-best 73 individuals and relays champion, followed by Columbia with 51
- Columbia returns Outstanding Field Athlete of the Year Grant Erisman
- One AMC athlete reached the NAIA A-Standard
