Columbia College Men's T&F Secures Seventh AMC Championship

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - Columbia College clinched their seventh American Midwest Conference Outdoor Men's Track & Field Championship title.

Newcomer of the Year: Gavin Merhoff, Hannibal-LaGrange

Championship Notes:

• The Cougars won eight events - Brenin Howell (discus), 4x100-meter relay, 4x800-meter relay, Ethan Phillips (long jump), Easton Haslag (javelin), Trystan Wright (110-meter hurdles), Campbell Nichols (800-meter run), Kalieb Redda (5k)
• Columbia's 4x100-meter relay became back-to-back AMC champions with a time of 42.89
• Outstanding Track Athlete of the Meet and Freshman of the Year Christon Warren won the 400-meters with a time of 48.86
• William Woods' 4x400-meter relay team won their third consecutive title with a time of 3:20.09
• Outstanding Field Athlete of the Meet and Athlete of the Meet Tucker Coleman from Williams Baptist collected four top-five finishes. He placed second in the discus and third in both hammer throw and shot put, and fifth in javelin
