AMC Cross Country Runners of the Week - No. 4 (Sept. 26)

St. Louis, Mo. - Wyatt Elliott and Mia Reed, both of Missouri Baptist, have been selected as the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Cross Country Runners of the Week, the league announced on Monday. They were selected from nominees submitted by each institution based on their performances from September 19 through September 25 and chosen through a vote of Sports Information Directors from around the AMC.

Both players are now eligible for the NAIA Cross Country Runner of the Week which is announced on Wednesday.

AMC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Wyatt Elliott, Missouri Baptist
Sr. | Elsinore, Mo.

• Recorded a PR at the McKendree Bearcat Classic
• Placed seventh with an 8K time of 25:54.
• Beat his old PR by more than 30-seconds.

Other Notable Performance:

• Carter Hemeyer, Health Sciences & Pharmacy (Mo.): Finished 14^th at the McKendree Bearcat Classic with a time of 26:24.2.

• Finished third out of 63 runners.
• Top NAIA finisher at the event.

• Alyssa McPike, Health Sciences & Pharmacy (Mo.): Finished 28^th at the McKendree Bearcat Classic with a time of 21:27.00
