AMC Athletes Compete at NAIA Cross Country National Championships

Tallahassee, Fla. - Two teams and eight individuals competed at the 2022 NAIA Cross Country Championships on Friday morning at the Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Fla.
AMC Runner of the Year, Alexander Dukes led the way on the men's side with an 80th-place finish in a time of 25:19.8.
Missouri Baptist, winners of the AMC Men's Cross Country Championship, competed as a team and finished 32nd with 818 points. Donovan Denslow led the Spartans across the finish line with a 90th-place finish in a time of 25:25.8.
On the women's side, the 2022 AMC Women's Cross Country Champions, William Woods, placed 19th with 488 points. The Owls had the top-two AMC runners across the finish line as Alicia Engelbrecht ran 18:31.0 for a 62nd-place finish, while Ellie Dimond placed 64th in a time of 18:31.3.
Mia Reed and Isabel Rinkenberger, both of Missouri Baptist, both added top-100 finishes as Reed (18:47.0) finished 93rd and Rinkenberger (18:47.4) placed 94th.
