AMC Cross Country Runners of the Week - Week 5

St. Louis, Mo. - William Woods University's Mekayla Gibson and Columbia College's Will Cherrington have been selected as the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Cross Country Runners of the Week. They were selected from nominees submitted by each institution based on their performances from Sept. 25-Oct. 1 and chosen through a vote of Sports Information Directors from around the AMC.
AMC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

- Finished 13th in the 179-runner field at the Gans Creek Classic in a time of 22:58.7
- Third AMC Runner of the Week honor (Week 2 - Sept. 4-10, Week 3 - Sept. 11-17).

- Finished 35th in the 389-runner field at the Louisville Cross Country Classic in a time of 26:38.0
