AMC Cross County Runners of the Week- Week 8

St. Louis, Mo. - William Woods University's Mekayla Gibson and Columbia College's Will Cherrington have been selected as the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Cross Country Runners of the Week. They were selected from nominees submitted by each institution based on their performances from Oct. 16-25 and chosen through a vote of Sports Information Directors from around the AMC.
AMC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

- Finished 1st in the 63-runner field at the Seminole Valley Stampede in a time of 18:26.3.
- Fourth AMC Runner of the Week honor (Week 2 - Sept. 4-10, Week 3 - Sept. 11-17, Week Five-Sept. 26-Oct. 1).
