AMC Cross Country Runners of the Week No. 2 - (Sep. 9)

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Madalenn Fee of Cottey College and Chris Palmer of Central Baptist College were selected the American Midwest Conference Cross Country runners of the week, announced the league this afternoon.

Both runners are now eligible for NAIA Men's and Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week which is announced on Wednesday.

AMC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Madalenn Fee, Cottey College
Jr. | Palmyra, NY

• Set a new school record in the 5k race with a time of 18:53.
• Placed 15^th out of 115 runners in the SBU Bearcat XC Invite.

AMC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Chris Palmer, Central Baptist College
Fr. | Greenbrier

• Set a 5K record in men's cross country for the Mustangs, becoming the first runner to eclipse 18 minutes at the distance.
• Earned a second-place finish in the Lyon Invitational.
