17 AMC Softball Student-Athletes Receive CSC Academic All-District Recognition

St. Louis, Mo. - College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its 2024 Academic All-District Softball Teams on Tuesday. The CSC Academic All-District program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

Seventeen student-athletes from the American Midwest Conference (AMC) made the list. Central Baptist College and Columbia College had an AMC-best five student-athletes earning 2024 Academic All-District honors.

To be eligible for the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), and compete in 90 percent of the institutions contests or start at least 66 percent of the contests.

AMC Softball Student-Athletes Named CSC Academic All-District:

Anderson, Frederic, Jeter, West, Schouten, King, Achs, Hager and Throckmorton were selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists and advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. The CSC Softball Academic All-American Team will be announced on June 18.
