AMC Softball Players of the Week - No. 7 (Mar. 17)

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Taylor Whitehead of Missouri Baptist and Hallie Roper of UHSP earned this week's AMC Softball Players of the Week.

Both players are now eligible for the NAIA Softball Players of the Week which is announced on Tuesday.

• Led the Spartans to three wins in three games, claiming two wins and a save in the circle
• Pitched 18.0 innings, striking out 16 while allowing nine hits and two runs
• Finished the week with a 0.78 ERA

Other Notable Performance: Natalie Brightwell, Crowley's Ridge: picked up two non-conference wins on the week. In nine innings pitched, she struck out nine allowing eight hits and two unearned runs.
