AMC Softball Players of the Week - No. 12 (Apr. 21)

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Taylor Whitehead of Missouri Baptist and Jagneaux of Crowley's Ridge earned this week's AMC Softball Players of the Week, announced the conference office this afternoon.

Both players are now eligible for the NAIA Softball Players of the Week which is announced on Tuesday.

AMC Softball Pitcher of the Week
Taylor Whitehead, Missouri Baptist

• Led the Spartans to a 3-0 week
• Threw a perfect game victory over Harris-Stowe
• Throughout the week, she struck out 20 batters in her three complete games, only allowed one run in 17 innings pitched for a 0.41 ERA

Other Notable Performance: Megan Graver, Columbia: went 2-1 in the circle on the week. In 21.2 innings pitched, she struck out 32 and allowed 13 hits and two runs

• Led the Pioneers to a sweep over Harris-Stowe and three splits against UHSP, Columbia and Stephens
• Went 15-for-32 with three doubles, a homer and 11 RBI
• Hit a two-RBI walk-off single to defeat Stephens and a three-run homer to help defeat Columbia

Other Notable Performance: Brooklynn Fischer, Missouri Baptist: went 12-for-18 at the plate. Extended her hitting streak to 10 games. Led the Spartans to three AMC sweeps
