St. Louis, Mo. – Kori Truelove and Ryleigh Keele of Central Baptist College swept this week's American Midwest Conference (AMC) Softball Players of the Week presented by AMCOnTheGo, announced the conference office this afternoon. 

AMC Softball Hitter of the Week

Kori Truelove, Central Baptist

Sr. | 2B/SS | Lonoke, Ark. 

  • Hit .692 (9-for-13) with a 1.000 slugging percentage and .667 on-base percentage on the weekend that saw the Mustangs defeat Louisiana Christian and Nelson, and falling to LSU-Alexandria and Embry-Riddle (Ariz.).
  • A perfect 4-for-4 with a double against Louisiana Christian, and 2-for-2 with two doubles against LSU-Alexandria.
  • She drove in five runs and scored three in the four games.

AMC Softball Pitcher of the Week

Ryleigh Keele, Central Baptist

So. | P | Harrison, Ark.

  • Threw a complete game, three-hit shutout in the Mustangs' 3-0 victory over Nelson.
  • Struck out six and walked three.
