ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Sarah Hunt of Cottey and Chu Crocket of Stephens were named this week's American Midwest Conference Women's Basketball Players of the Week, announced the conference office this afternoon.

Both players are now eligible for the NAIA Women's Basketball Players of the Week which is announced on Tuesday.

AMC Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Sarah Hunt, Cottey
Sr. | G | Paris, Tex.
  • Led the Comets to a 2-1 week including wins over William Woods and Central Baptist
  • Scored 76 points in three games, averaging 56 percent from the field, 52 from deep and 80 percent from the foul-line
  • Added 10 rebounds, seven assists and six steals on the week
Other Notable Performance: Raigan Head, Central Baptist: scored 43 points and pulled down 17 boards on the week

  • Led the Stars to a 1-1 record on the week, averaging 22.5 points per game
  • Recorded a double-double in loss to Williams Baptist with 15 rebounds and 30 points
  • Rached a career milestone, scoring 1,541st collegiate point

Other Notable Performance: J'Lessa Jordan, Harris-Stowe: had a career-high eight blocks in win against Hannibal-LaGrange. Averaged 2.5 stels in two games.
