WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. - (Tournament Page) The 2025 AMC Women's Basketball Tournament Presented by Tandem HR began on Friday with all four higher seeds winning their quarterfinal round games to advance to the semifinals.

- The Cougars advanced to their 25th consecutive AMC Tournament Semifinals
- Lexi Miller of Columbia scored a team-high 23 points to lead four players in double figures
- Sophia Horton led the Spartans in the offensive end with 24 points while Riley Jansen led the defensive end with six rebounds
- Abby Backes dished out five assists for the Cougars and pulled down nine boards
- The Cougars shot 44 percent from the field, 48 percent from deep and 67 percent from the foul-line. The Spartans shot 41 percent from the field, 20 percent from deep and 89 percent from the foul-line.
- Making their first-ever appearance in the AMC Tournament, Mission moved on to the Semifinals
- Josie Sullivan and Cassidy Hambelton from Mission each recorded a double-double, Sullivan had 24 points and 11 rebounds while Hambelton added 18 points and 11 assists
- Sydney Booker posted a double-double for William Woods with 10 points and 10 rebounds
- Ireland Jones and Heaven Shockley also scored double digits with Shockley contributing with 22 points and Jones with 11
- Jersee Wren went 5-for-6 from the free-throw line to total 16 points
- Mission shot 58 percent from the field, 43 percent from deep and 75 percent from the foul-line. William Woods shot 33 percent from the field, 33 percent from deep and 78 percent from the foul-line.
- With the win, the Eagles extended their winning streak to 21, securing a spot in the semifinals of the AMC Tournament
- Five Eagles scored double digits (Carmen Taylor, Charmen Taylor, Taylor Hooten, Kaylee Isaacs and Taylyn Davis)
- Lydia York led the Mustangs with 15 points
- The Mustangs pulled down 45 boards while the Eagles pulled down 43
- Isaacs made six threes, being one three-pointer away from tying the tournament record of most three-point made
- Williams Baptist shot 54 percent from the field, 43 percent from deep and 78 percent from the free-throw line. Central Baptist shot 31 percent from the field, 23 percent from deep and 86 percent from the foul-line.
- Stephens advanced to their second semifinals in a row
- Two-time Defensive Player of the Year Chu Crockett of Stephens posted her 10th double-double of the season with 14 points and 13 rebounds
- Cottey's Sarah Hunt led the floor with 22 points, going 4-for-4 from the foul-line
- LaiJanique Perry-Ellis added 16 points, four boards and four assists
- The Comets of Cottey shot 100 percent from the foul-line in the first quarter and in the third quarter
- Stephens shot 37 percent from the field, 33 percent from deep and 87 percent from the free-throw line. Cottey shot 43 percent from the field, 21 percent from beyond the arc and 76 percent from the foul-line.
