St. Louis, Mo. – Cha'Myrean Ellis of Williams Baptist was named this week's Offensive and Defensive American Midwest Conference (AMC) Women's Basketball Players of the Week presented by AMCOnTheGo, announced the conference office this afternoon.

  • Led the Eagles on both offensive and defensive end for a 2-0 week in two non-conference games
  • Dropped 50 points across wins over Fisk and Bryan
  • Shot 55.6 percent from the field and 56.3 percent from the free-throw line
  • Secured 19 rebounds in two games, including a double-double against Fisk (25 points and 11 rebounds)
  • Added six assists, three steals, and three blocks

Offensive other notable performance:

  • Ashtyn Klusmeyer, Columbia: recorded 25 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals in the loss to Friends.

  • Lexi Rubel, Columbia: pulled down 10 boards for the Cougars in the 80-75 loss to Friends. Added one steal and one block.
