St. Louis, Mo. – Miya Nieto and Naomi Daugherty of Mission University swept this week's American Midwest Conference (AMC) Women's Basketball Players of the Week presented by AMCOnTheGo, announced the conference office this afternoon.

Miya Nieto, Mission
Jr. | G | Springfield, Mo.

  • Led the Patriots to conference wins over Cottey and Crowley's Ridge
  • Scored 40 points in 20 minutes of playing time against the Pioneers, including going 11-for-17 from deep
  • Totaled 47 points, six rebounds and four steals

AMC Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Naomi Daugherty, Mission
So. | F | Quapaw, Okla.

  • Led the Patriots to conference wins over Cottey and Crowley's Ridge
  • Posted a double-double over Cottey (16 points and 16 rebounds)
  • Totaled 22 rebounds, three assists and one steal

Other notable performance:

  • Cailynn Dilosa, Harris-Stowe: had seven steals in the loss to UHSP
