William Woods misses cut at NAIA Women's Golf National Championships; Zrodowska continues, tied for first after two rounds
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – (Results) William Woods women's golf team has its season come to an end at the 2019 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Women's Golf National Championships. The event is being hosted at Lincoln Park Golf Club (West Course) in Oklahoma City, Okla.
The Owls shot 30-over-par 318 improving by four strokes from round one. Unfortunately, that total missed the cut, as the field is trimmed to the top 17 teams and top 40 individuals after round two.
William Woods compiled a two-round total of 640 (322-318) and finished in 25th-place.
Maria Zrodowska led the Owls with a 1-over-par 73 in round two and is currently tied for first on the individual leaderboard at 1-under-par.
Lucy Matthews shot 8-over-par on the day with three birdies. Matthews finished the tournament at 14-over-par.
Krystal Burgtorf shot an 81 in round two which is 9-over-par. Burgtorf finished at 26-over-par.
Paige Hawkings carded a 12-over-par (84), while Kelsey Moreland carded a 16-over-par (88).
Zrodowska made the cut and will continue her play for the next two rounds.
