William Woods Leads After Round One of AMC Championships

Eugene, Mo. - (Individual Leaderboard | Team Leaderboard | Course Stats | Teams w/Players) After 18 holes at the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Women's Golf Championships, the William Woods Owls are leading by 20-strokes over Columbia. Round two begins on Tuesday, May 11 with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
The Owls shot 306 (+18) as a team and placed three golfers in the top-four - Maria Zrodowska leads the individuals (-2, 70), Krystal Burgtorf is third (+5, 77) and Jennah Schell is tied for fourth-place (+7, 79).
The Cougars (326) were paced by Emily Strunck, who shot a 79 and is tied for fourth place on the individual leaderboard. Haleigh Berrey (T6, 80) and Cassidy McAlpine (T9, 82) are in the top-10 after the first 18.
Sidney Bailey of Williams Baptist is in second-place carding a +3-75 after round one.
