2025 AMC Women's Golf Championship Preview
MELBOURNE, Ark. - (Championship Page) The 2025 American Midwest Conference women's golf championship will be held at Cooper's Hawk Golf Club in Melbourne, Ark. beginning on Monday, Apr. 28. The 36-hole championship will feature golfers from seven schools with shotgun starts on both Monday (9:00 am) and Tuesday (8:30 am).
Participating schools include Central Baptist, Columbia, Cottey, Health Sciences and Pharmacy, Missouri Baptist, William Woods, and Williams Baptist.
ABOUT THE TEAMS

Columbia will look to secure its fourth-straight AMC women's golf championship.

William Woods has an AMC-best 14 women's golf championships. The Owls are seeking their first tournament title since 2021.

Central Baptist has posted team scores in four events this season. The Mustangs shot a season-low 747 at the CBC Spring Invitational.

Columbia has recorded five tournament wins as a team this season. The Cougars won last year's tournament over Central Baptist (618-969) while placing four golfers in the top five.

Cottey has posted a team score in four events this season. The Comets won the Scots Fall Invitational with a team score of 717.

Missouri Baptist finished second at the WBU Fall Invitational with a team score of 682. The Spartans have posted a scoring average of 373 this season.

UHSP will take part in its first AMC women's golf championship this season. The Eutectics posted six top-five finishes this season, including strong performances at the WWU Fall Invitational (4th of 8, 635) and Railwood Open (3rd of 9, 676).

William Woods has recorded seven top-five finishes this season. The Owls best outing came in a fourth place finish at the WWU Spring Invitational with a team score of 705.

Williams Baptist's best team performance came at the WBU Spring Invitational where the Eagles posted a team score of 758.

- Columbia has placed four golfers in the top five in stroke average in the league (Ellie Soderholm 1st - 81.2, Ashlyn Sanders 3rd - 83.4, Viviana Boix 4th, 83.5, Camryn Winfard 5th - 83.9)

Williams Baptist's Kendra Harness is second in the league in stroke average at 82.5, while Grace Woody ranks 10th at 89.1.

UHSP's Ella Penke (85.9) and Samantha Kasting (86.6) are seventh and eighth in stroke average in the AMC.

Central Baptist's Abby Kirby (84.5) and Laney Crutchfield (88.7) are sixth and ninth respectively in stroke average.

ABOUT THE CHAMPIONSHIP
