Cougars Captured Fifth Consecutive AMC Women’s Golf Championship Title
MELBOURNE, Ark. – The Columbia College Cougars women's golf team won their fifth consecutive AMC Women's Golf Championship title. The tournament was held at Cooper's Hawk Golf Course.
Ellie Soderholm took home the individual for the second straight year as she was named back-to-back AMC Player of the Year.
UHSP's Harper Ready was named AMC Newcomer of the Year, finishing sixth (77-84 – 161).
Mariana Bonilla of Williams Baptist was named AMC Freshman of the Year and finished runner-up (76-76 – 152).
With the conference title, the Cougars earned an automatic berth into the NAIA Championships in Ypsilanti, Mich. May 19-22. Columbia will compete at Eagle Crest Golf Club.
