AMC Women's Soccer All-Tournament Team Released
St. Louis, Mo. - The American Midwest Conference (AMC) announced the 2024 Women's Soccer All-Tournament Team. The 15-player team is led by Tournament Most Valuable Player Macie Lucas, a forward from Tournament-Champion Columbia College.
The All-Tournament Team was selected by the eight Tournament-qualifying coaches. The MVP is voted on by a selection committee of two coaches and the Conference staff.
Lucas scored three goals and added five assists (11 points) in three matches during the Tournament. She scored the game-winning goal in the Cougars quarterfinal victory over Central Baptist, adding two assists in that contest. In the quarterfinals against Harris-Stowe, Lucas scored twice and added two more assists. She finished the Tournament with the crucial pass that led to Columbia's lone goal in the Championship match.
