AMC Women’s Soccer Quarterfinals Recap

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Higher seeds advance to the 2025 American Midwest Conference Women's Soccer Tournament semifinals on Friday.

Game One: (4) Health Sciences & Pharmacy def. (5) Stephens, 2-1 (BOX SCORE)

• Stephens found the back of the net first with a goal from Freshman of the Year Moriah Carnahan assisted by Ava Leininger and Kayln Apodaca in the 15th minute.
• In the 25th minute, Lyla Stegmann scored a goal assisted by Izzy Rogers to tie the game, 1-1.
• Rylee Mirth scored the game-winning goal in the 55th minute.
• Susan Bradford made five stops in goal for UHSP.
• The Eutectics outshot the Stars, 19-9.
• UHSP is making its first-ever appearance in the AMC Women's Soccer Tournament Semifinals.

Game Two: (3) Harris-Stowe def. (6) Hannibal-LaGrange, 3-0 (BOX SCORE)

• Sherasade Meghezi scored two goals for the Hornets.
• In the 68th minute, Katharina Salomon found the back of the net assisted by Julia Tofane.
• Kylee Gundaker stopped nine shots in between posts for the Trojans.
• Harris-Stowe outshot Hannibal-LaGrange, 24-4.
• The Hornets held an advantage in set pieces, earning 10 corner kicks to just one for the Trojans.
• This marks the second consecutive year that Harris-Stowe has advanced to the semifinals of the AMC Women's Soccer Tournament.

The semifinals of the AMC Women's Soccer Tournament are Friday, November 7, with Columbia hosting UHSP at 6:00 p.m. and Williams Baptist hosting Harris-Stowe at 1:00 p.m.  The winners will advance to the Championship match, scheduled for Monday, November 10, with an automatic bid to the NAIA Tournament up for grabs.
