AMC Women's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week - No. 5 (Feb. 6)

St. Louis, Mo. - Khristen Bryant of Columbia (Mo.) and Alicia Engelbrecht of William Woods (Mo.) have been selected as the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Women's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced on Monday. They were selected from nominees submitted by each institution based on their performances from January 30 through February 5 and chosen through a vote of Sports Information Directors from around the AMC.

The next NAIA Women's Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week awards will be announced on Wednesday.

GS | Jefferson City, Mo.

• Finished first in the 3000-meter run at the Jim Green Invite.
• Ran 10:43.44.
• Ranks first in the AMC in the event.

Other Notable Performance:

• Mia Reed, Missouri Baptist: Placed third in the distance medley relay and fourth in the 1000-meter run at the IWU Midwest Classic.

• Katie French, William Woods (Mo.): Finished first in the shot put and the weight throw at the Jim Green Invite, hitting the NAIA "A" standard in the shot put and the "B" standard in the weight throw.
