Bryant Earns All-American Status as Four AMC Athletes Compete on Day Two of the NAIA Women's Indoor Track & Field National Championships

Brookings, S.D. - (NAIA Winter Championships Track Page | Results) The AMC saw four athletes compete in five events on day two of the NAIA Women's Indoor Track & Field National Championships.
Khristen Bryant (Columbia) competed in two events on the day. She finished sixth in the women's pole vault with a mark of 3.82-meters, making her an All-American. Bryant secured All-American status in her third attempt at 3.82-meters.
Additionally, Bryant competed in the 60-meter hurdles running a season-best 8.93-seconds and placing 21st in the event.
Katie French (William Woods) competed in the weight throw and placed ninth in the event. French tossed 16.65-meters on her first attempt and missed out on All-American status by just .04-meters.
Two athletes competed in the 1000-meter run, both from Missouri Baptist. Isabel Rinkenberger finished 9th in the preliminaries with a time of 3:00.44, while Mia Reed placed 10th with a time of 3:01.54. Both athletes just missed out on the finals as just the top-8 advanced.
French will compete on Saturday at 11:30 AM in the women's shot put.
