AMC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week - No. 7 (May 2)

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Makenzie Schwartz of Columbia (Mo.) and Katie French of William Woods (Mo.) have been selected as the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday.

AMC Women's Track Athlete of the Week
Makenzie Schwartz, Columbia

• Finished second in the 200-meter run with a time of 27.58.
• Apart of the 4X100-meter relay team that won first-place.

AMC Women's Field Athlete of the Week
Katie French, William Woods

• Racked up three first-place finishes at the Truman State Twilight
• Won the shot put with a distance of 13.13m, hitting the NAIA "B" Standard.
• Tossed 46.79-meters in the hammer.
• Recorded a mark of 41.43-meters in the discus.
