Columbia Wins Women's Outdoor Track & Field Title

St. Louis, Mo. - (Full Results) For the first time since 2018, the Columbia College women's outdoor track & field team claimed the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championship.
The Cougars scored 257 points, followed by William Woods (189), Hannibal-Lagrange (106), Williams Baptist (103), and Missouri Baptist (92) closed the top-five.
Katelyn Conner on Columbia won Athlete of the Meet after scoring a championship best 32.5 points. Conner won the triple jump, second in the 400-meter hurdles, and fourth in the long jump, 100-meter hurdles, and high jump. In addition, she was a part of the 4X400-meter relay team that placed first.
Katie French was named Outstanding Field Athlete for the second-straight season. French won the shot put, discus, and hammer, and 11th in the javelin. French became the first WWU woman to win the shot put, hammer, and discus at the AMC Championships.
Ally Swaim won Outstanding Track Athlete after winning the 100-meter hurdles and medaling in the 200-meter dash with a second-place finish. Additionally, she scored in the 100-meter dash (4th) and 400-meter hurdles (5th).
Tiah Cupp of Hannibal-LaGrange was named Freshman of the Year after winning the 400-meter hurdles, finishing third in the 100-meter hurdles, fifth in the 400-meter hurdles, and seventh in the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash.
Nani Brewington (Missouri Baptist) finished sixth in the 10,000-meter run and earned AMC Newcomer of the Year honors.
After leading the Cougars to the team title, head coach Daniel Radkowiec, assistant coach Mason McCaleb, and graduate assistant Meaghan Rice was named Coaching Staff of the Year.
