AMC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week - No. 2 (March 20)

St. Louis, Mo. - Ally Swaim and Ashleigh Gross-Mitchell, both of Central Baptist (Ark.), have been selected as the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced on Monday. They were selected from nominees submitted by each institution based on their performances from March 13 through March 19 and chosen through a vote of Sports Information Directors from around the AMC.

The next NAIA Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week awards will be announced on Wednesday.

AMC Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week
Ally Swaim, Central Baptist (Ark.)
Sr. | Vilonia, Ark.

• Finished 2^nd in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.01.
• Placed eighth in the 100-meter dash (12.92).
• Set the best time in the AMC in both events.

Other Notable Performance:

• Kaylee Lambe, Lyon (Ark.): Finished seventh in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 13:57.08.

Ashleigh Gross-Mitchell, Central Baptist (Ark.)

• Finished sixth in the long jump, improving her season-best mark to 4.95-meters.
• Currently ranks first in the AMC in the event.

Other Notable Performance:

• Aziza Takhi, Lyon (Ark.): Finished 16^th in the shot put (8.27m), 12^th in the discus (20.81m) and 15^th in the javelin (18.90m).
