Jakubowska, Coelho Land on CSC Academic All-America Second Team

AUSTIN, Texas - For the first time in their careers, Gabi Jakubowska and Maiana Coelho earned a selection as College Sports Communicators Academic All-America recipients after being chosen to the second team.
The NAIA Academic All-America program is being financially supported by the NAIA national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 NAIA Academic All-America program. The two NAIA All-America teams had a combined 3.84 cumulative GPA.
Jakubowska, a junior from Katowice, Poland, posted a 3.59 GPA as a Cybersecurity major, averaging 4.66 kills per set, a .270 hitting percentage, and 64 total blocks. She led the team to the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Regular Season and Tournament Championships, earning NAIA All-America First Team honors as well as AMC Player of the Year, a selection to the NAIA All-America First Team, AMC Player of the Year, AMC Attacker of the Year, AVCA Midwest Region Player of the Year, five AMC Attacker of the Week awards, and the AMC Tournament MVP award. Academically, she earned a spot on the AMC All-Academic Team and a selection as an NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete.
Joining her on the list was senior setter Coelho. The Psychology major from Recife, Brazil, posted 10.07 assists per set 60 blocks, and 2.44 digs per set to go along with an impressive 4.0 GPA. She won AMC Setter of the Year to go along with selections to the AVCA Midwest Region First Team, All-AMC First Team, and seven AMC Setter of the Week awards. Coelho was also on the Academic All-AMC Team and was chosen as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete.
