AMC Volleyball Players of the Week - No. 10 (Oct. 27)

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Amiyah Saxton of Crowley's Ridge, Jenna Brinson of Health Sciences & Pharmacy and DaiTona Streets of Central Baptist were named the American Midwest Conference Women's Volleyball Players of the Week presented by AMCOnTheGo, announced the conference office this afternoon.

All three are now eligible for the NAIA Volleyball Players of the Week which is announced on Tuesday.

AMC Volleyball Attacker of the Week
Amiyah Saxton, Crowley's Ridge
Jr. | OH | Portageville, Mo.

• Led the Pioneers to two conference sweeps on the week, against UHSP and Harris-Stowe
• Recorded 34 kills on the week, with an average of 4.86 kills per set
• Added five digs, two service aces and five total blocks
• Won back-to-back AMC Attacker of the Week
• Second AMC attacker of the week honor on the season

Other Notable Performance:

• Kenedi Canty, Columbia: totaled 26 kills in a 2-1 week for the Cougars. Hitting percentage of .477 in three matches. Added 10 total blocks

AMC Volleyball Defender of the Week
DaiTona Streets, Central Baptist
Jr. | MH | North Little Rock, Ark.

• Led the Mustangs to a 3-1 week, including three conference wins in three matches
• Recorded 16 total blocks, averaging 1.07 blocks per set
• Added 21 kills and four digs

Other Notable Performance:

• MaKenzie Uribe, UHSP: totaled 75 digs and 114 receptions in four matches for the Eutectics. Added two service aces.

• Emma Whitson, Stephens: recorded 81 assists, averaging 9.00 assists per set in a 2-1 week
• Hannah Maxwell, Mission: averaged 8.30 assists per set in 83 assists in a 2-1 record on the week
