AMC Sees Strong Performances at NAIA Women's Cross Country National Championships
VANCOUVER, Wash. – (RESULTS) One AMC team and three individuals hit the 5K course for the NAIA Women's Cross Country National Championships, hosted in Vancouver, Wash.
Columbia, the lone AMC team competing, finished 24th and was led by AMC Runner of the Year Brianna Haller's 40th-place finish in a time of 18:50.3. The Cougars scoring was capped off by Naomi Payne (161st, 19:51.2), Grace Brinkmann (179th, 19:58.2), Mikayla Sehlmeyer (190th, 20:01.5) and Jada O'Donnell (221st, 20:16.2).
For the individuals, Sierra St. Aubyn and Lauren Sisco, both from Hannibal-LaGrange, finished 66th and 191st, respectively. St. Aubyn ran 19:08.8 and Sisco clocked a 20:02.1. Missouri Baptist Spartan, Emily Bayer, ran 20:02.3 and finished one spot behind Sisco in 192nd-place.
